Remember when SJS fans were claiming Nikolai Knyzhov to actually be good? lol

He was! That injury and staff infection really stunted his growth, I still think he is a capable depth defender!

I would flip Eklund and Hoffman, but I agree with not touching the 3rd Generation line!

Still think he is, but the calculus of sending him down vs Okhotiuk, Emberson is correct as his cap hit higher and another year. Probably as much about who wouldn’t get claimed via waivers

Emberson should play over Okhotiuk.

Zadina does not deserve to be in the top 6. Both Bailey and Carpenter have seemed like more responsible forwards, which is problematic. I wouldn't drop Zadina entirely though.

Even though I'm really negative on Kunin, he's showed some scoring touch as the 6th forward in the top 6.

Eklund - Hertl - Barabanov
Hoffman - Couture - Kunin
Duclair - Granlund - Zetterlund
Smith - Sturm - Zadina

Ferraro - Emberson
Benning (offhand) - Addison
MacDonald - Rutta

Blackwood
Kahkonen

Scratches: Vlasic, Labanc, Burroughs

Defensive pairs are mostly based on the fact that Ferraro has played a lot better with Emberson and Benning - Addison have also had good 5v5 xGF%. MacDonald and Rutta seem like the most deserving 5th/6th D.
