I love Corry Perry, I firmly believe that his incident in Chicago was a one time lapse/accident on his part or a cautious overreaction on Chicago's part, I think he has a place on any team in any situation, legit cup contenders, rebuilders with young players who need to learn from veterans, or teams who seek to push themselves into a playoff spot.

However, Perry alone does not fix Edmonton's issues. If signing Perry is step 1 of X amount of steps to bring EDM back to contention this year, then that's great.

Yep nothing says "fix this dumpster fire of an organization" like "sign the guy that just got booted from the worst team in the league under murky circumstances when he was supposed to mentor the new phenom." I'm sure the press will go easy on him too 🙄
