If you take out the first round draft pick I think it’s a fair trade.

Rutta has not been good for the past season and a half, having a 5.5M dollar 3rd pairing when your 2RD(ceci) desperately needs an upgrade is not smart and vinny.d has been one of the better 3RD in the league for the past 8-9 games now while being elite on the PK and he's doing for less than league min, that money would be better spent on another RW or an upgrade on ceci like tanev or walker who cost 2.6

Rutta over Desharnais? No way.

Ceci is the defenceman that needs to move for an upgrade at RHD.

Also, I’d pry Duclair out of San Jose, makes more sense since Brown is struggling.

The first is just to move Campbell, it might take more than that, Broberg has next to nothing in value after 4 years of not being able to be an NHL regular so SJ is suppose to do a division rival a favor by taking their worst contract and solve their biggest problem?
