This is horrible? what the hell are you on when you came up with this trade, I want some...

Canucks aren't trading an early 50% retained top 6 winger with ONE extra year after this, for a second and some garbage.

Seems like pretty fair value. I'd like the deal a little bit more if there were a way to involve a 3rd team so Seattle can perhaps give a player away (Perhaps Driedger) to make cap space for Kuzmenko so there isn't any salary retention and drop the draft compensation to a 3rd or 4th. But with the salary retention but also considering where Kuzmenko is in the Vancouver depth chart currently and production this season, the compensation is fair.

Schultz is a good add as it looks like Evans may have justified a full time spot on the roster, and Schultz is a Vancouver native, so that's a bit of a nice story and his contract is off the books by the end of this year anyways.
