Talented team!

Too many things went wrong, mostly injuries. They really miss Quinn, Tage, Tuch and Skinner have all missed time... Sometimes it's just not your year. RIP RJ.

I have a hard time with teams as talented as the Sabres. The team is consistently less than the "sum of its parts". I know there's always "maybe next year", but I honestly feel the team needs a few more sparkplugs with less talent.

He's past his prime but the Habs have Gallagher who literally has less talent that any forward in your lineup, but he drags the team into the fight, and does whatever he needs to do to stay relevant and in the lineup. Similarly the Habs have Savard. Again less talented than any defenseman in your lineup, but he throws his body out there on the line and drags the other guys into the fight.

Who motivates these Sabres to be all they can be?

That’s a Great? Too many times they’re not ready to play. They sleep walk for the 1rst 15 minutes then they’re down 2-0. Guys have talent but they think too much instead of just play.

Also, they only get up for the good teams, then nothing vs teams they should beat.

Damn, no wonder they in no rush to make playoffs. They have so understanding and supportive fanbase, who find excuses for them.
