He had one outstanding season, i wouldn't say he's one of the best, if he was he wouldnt be playing RW for team Canada. Plus playing wing doesnt mean he cant take faceoffs

I like Jagr and all but 2 years at 5.5 per is really high for what he will get. I don't see Jagr getting anything other than 1 year contract since he is 45 right now. I also don't see him making 1.5 mil a year more than last year. I think if he gets a contract, it will be in the 2.5 for 1 year range. With Jagr on the team, I know you are trying to put him in the top 6 which makes sense but I'm with Skyraider112 on having O'Reilly at center.

Problem with Jagr is year 2. Leaves $23 million to cover 11 roster spots including
Eichel
Reinhart
Kane
Girgensons
Pouliot
Antipin
Johnson
Falk

You could free up $11.6 million if you somehow could move both Pominville and Moulson
