Description
Bjugstad is another project, to go along with Pouliot, but is a former 40 point scorer. Needs to shoot more and stay healthy but i think the change of scenery can potentially help to straighten him out. The wings are a mess of question marks. Baptiste and Bailey are unproven, Pouliot needs to get back on track, and Okposo is coming off a scary illness at the end of the season. Reinhart and Kane even bring questions. Some depth players, Griffith, Deslauriers, Fasching, Nylander, and Smith, may have potential to crack the roster and be productive. The defense is a lot better looking then last year, with Guhle and Nelson adding some promising depth. Going for 3 scoring lines so playing with line chemistry. Baptiste played with McDavid, I'd like to see if he can get some chemistry with Eichel, I'd want to give Pouliot a chance with a top line to see if he can recover his form. Kane, Bjugstad, and Jagr are all 40 point players, and some big guys that can hit and make some room. Adding Jagr gives them a little more established depth at wing and and gives them a pretty decent 4th line as well, with Bailey, Larsson and Pommer.

Great move to get Deslauriers off of the top 12. Who kills penalties, Jagr? When did anyone sign for $1,000,000 (Pouliot) and play on the top 6? Kane plays 3rd line LW behind Baptiste (right handed right winger/Center)? Scandella was the 5th D-man prior to coming to Buffalo but on your team he is the top?

There has been talk on WGR 550 about Scandella playing along side Ristolainen, so can understand why he has him slotted there. McCabe and Bogo will be second pairing since they have showed they can play well together. I'm fairly sure Beaulieu and Antipin will end up 3rd pair. Your other comments seem spot on. He has a few other teams he made where he puts Baptiste on that Eichel which is insane to me and putting your best scorer last year on the 3rd line makes no sense at all.

I would like to second this comment as well. I know you want to get rid of Moulson but doing a bad trade to get someone to take him specially when your taking on more term with worse player.

I do not know why so many people are against Moulson. 117 forwards had more PP time than Moulson and only 10 forwards had more goals than he did. Just for example Ovechkin led the forwards with 17 PPG and was 2nd with 305 PPM. Moulson scored his 11 PPG with only 171 PPM. 17/305 = .055 ppg/ppm and 11/171= .064 ppg/ppm, so Moulson was scoring PPG at a faster rate than Ovechkin. If Moulson had as much PP time as Ovechkin he would have scored nearly 20 PPG! Where does this dislike for him come from? Yes he may be overpaid but he still brings talent to the team. I hope he is paired with his best friend Okposo to see if the two can feed off of each other.

Yes, it is the radio and newspaper that gives ideas to the average fan who do not take the time to do their own research. Your comments are valuable not because they agree with my opinion but because you present evidence to substantiate your comments
