Canucks wont seriously overpay for an older, short term rental especially when Kuzmenko is probably better at this stage. Dont mind the Carrick deal, but a 3rd is too much, even without Truscott.

The Canucks are top 5 in the league. Does that not make them a cup contender? The only reason we aren’t number 1 is because our powerplay sucks and our top six has fallen off the past 10 games. Need a better winger for Petey and a better winger for Miller and Boeser. Kuzmenko’s work ethic this past summer is the reason they won’t be competitive. We need him to be the elite 40 goal winger that he is and not some lazy half effort forechecker on an otherwise tough team.
