Willander is a major upgrade on Raty, but you're also missing the big gap in value from Beauvillier to Mikheyev. Beauvillier had 54 points in 124 games the year and a half before the trade and only plays PP, Mikehyev has 49 in 79 games and plays both special teams units. He's much more valuable than Beauvillier.

Nylander is a better player than Horvat on ice, but that doesn't make instantly a much more valuable asset. Nylander is a winger, Horvat is a centre. Centre is one of the most expensive positions, winger is by far the cheapest and easiest to fill. Isles also gave up that package and immediately extended Horvat, Nylander will 100% test the market and not extend if he were dealt. He's also due about $3-$4M more than Horvat. Yes, Nylander is more valuable than Horvat cause he's a better player, but not valuable enough to upgrade from a B to A prospect and a cap dump to a solid top 6 F.
