LMFAO... Out of curiosity, do Leafs fans just have a weird contempt for Buffalo like we are the younger sibling? What in the world makes you think you could get EITHER of those guys for punch-up artist? Get real.

They're both AHLers and Reaves would be a fantastic addition to the Sabres. Also check the game notes bud

I respect your opinion but humbly disagree. If you want to watch people hit and fight, there's UFC or WWF or whatever it's called. I'm here for hockey not just to watch people slam into each other. The game is evolving into something that is more skill-based and these fighters are a relic of the old style. Besides, Reaves would fill the exact same role as Greenway, so what would we do with him? The trade makes 0 sense for either team.

Most teams that have won the cup ever since analytics nerds start trying to manifest "evolution" of the game have had a Reaves like player, meanwhile teams like Buffalo who keep coping and saying the game is changing have missed the playoffs 12 years in a row, or Dubas who had 1 playoff win with one of the best top 6s in the game. Kolesar has a cup, Kurtis MacDermid has a cup, Pat Maroon has 3 cups and went 4 years in a row, Tom Wilson has a cup, Carcillo and Shaw have 2 cups, Bryan Bickell has 3, Kyle Clifford has 2 cups, Lucic, Shawn Thornton, Adam McQuaid, and Greg Campbell all also have 1 cup. Pittsburgh is the only team over the last 15 years to not have a true defined enforcer with a cup and even then they had Malkin throwing fists and Tom Sesito on the roster. Over that time the Sabres have 0 playoff wins. Fights have also been trending back up The hockey news If you don't like it, this game isn't for you.

Huberdeau, Seth Jones, Darnell Nurse, Pierre-Luc Dubois, Johnny Gaudreau, Ryan Johansen, Evgeny Kuznetsov. That's just off the top of my head

He’s sucked for quite awhile now though
