I see the future contracts of our stars as Draisaitl 12 million × 8 years, Bushard 8 million × 8 years, McDavid 13 million × 8 years.

why would Draisaitl take under market value? and why would McDavid take only a 500k raise on his next contact? these two are worth more than that. you can have your hopes and dreams but there is a reality. the reality is Draisaitl will want fair market value and so will McDavid.
