Adding depth helps the bottom 6 but does NOT fix the main problems

This team too lazy to play defense and everyone rather play offense and score. Their best games come from prioritizing defense and the offense will follow

Why are the Rangers trading Bonino who blocks a ridiculous amount of shots?

He blocks a ton of shots because he’s always stuck playing defense. Block shots are great, but when you’re constantly playing defense and providing no offense/puck possession, it’s pointless

Rangers have goodrow who is the same player. They can’t have them both playing in the bottom 6

Because they have injuries and didn’t sign good depth players apparently. Bonino, goodrow, brodzinski, wheeler have all been old, slow, bad, you name it. Losing chytil and Kakko hurt their 5v5 game, but there’s no excuse to upgrade the depth
