Not the biggest fan, honestly. Marchment and Bourque are both great pieces, don't get me wrong. But IMO, trading Jake slams our contention window shut and starts the rebuild. That means Bourque at 22 will likely be ahead of the timeline for the next core, and we won't get the most out of his prime. Also, I don't think a Guentzel trade without a 1st what we want, especially if we start rebuilding.

Good to see a Jake trade proposal that's not to Vancouver. Pens would need a 1st. I don't think they have any issue including POJ in the trade either.

Might be wrong but that’s a lot to give up for the Stars in Marchment who is having a 60+ point season and arguably the best player in the AHL in 22 year old Bourque plus the second. Feel like the second needs to get removed tbh
