I wouldn't do it, half the Sabres fan base probably would. I think the Sabres are fine with their goalies and need to use Mittelstadt to upgrade their d

I am fine with all the moves you made other than the Lundell trade and signing Seeler. I have no issue with Lundell, it just seems like a lot to give up for a player that isn't that huge of an upgrade on Frost. Resigning Seeler is a major mistake, he will be 31 next year and with that cap hit it doesn't give the opportunity to younger players.

The idea with Lundell is the potential payoff is *way* higher than it could be with Frost, he had the D+1 and D+2 of a star 1C in the making and only fell off the last 2 years due to just being a bad fit with Maurice and an otherwise surging Panthers team.

I don't love the idea of Seeler either, but they're probably going to resign him. I will say though I'm not worried about him being a blocker, injuries always happen and unless Bonk blows expectations out of the water at camp they don't have anybody who is super close to NHL ready, let alone potential future top-4 guys

I understand your point, but I don't think he is enough of an upgrade on Frost to give up Andrae and a 2nd. I also don't think that Frost is being traded anymore after his meeting with Torts.

I just think I would rather take a chance on all the other options other than Seeler and whatever picks you can get over keeping Seeler. I don't have a ton of confidence but you have to give the guys on the Phantoms a chance. You have Attard, Grans, Ginning, Andrae and Bonk at least that could play on that bottom pair. Resigning Seeler would show the fan base that there is no rebuild and they aren't giving the young guys a chance.
