That pathetic offer for Elias Lindholm is beaten by a country mile.

And no Noah Hanifin isn't waiving for a Non-Playoff dump like Arizona. There's no freaking way he would sign with that joke of an organization.

Avs should accept but there should also be better offers than that.

My thought with the undervaluing of Lindholm is that he doesn't have an extension yet. If this is a sign and trade where he is locked up to an affordable longer term deal the Avs would have to move a lot more but for a rental piece I think that is fair. He's only on pace for 54 points this season so you have to take that into consideration as well. Analytically he has taken a dip in almost every category as well. Good player that you can trust in the offensive and defensive zone as well as in transition. Very good twf c2 but not much else.

In the case of Hanifin I think he would much rather play in Arizona than Calgary. Maybe not his best option and that is my fault for not realizing he had a M-NTC but still Arizona has a much more promising future than Calgary at the moment.

Flames are not taking Campbell for so little. You didn’t even include a first round pick. Bromberg is almost waiver worthy and he would be a great reclamation project but he’s not a significant piece. You do know how long Campbell is signed for right?

I think I fixed the value here. I still like the core concept of the trade but I'm really not sure why I gave the flames so little at first. Maybe I still subconsciously overvalue McLeod/Broberg for being former high end picks. I kind of thought as it being a Dube for McLeod player swap with Campbell, Broberg, and the second being the pieces used to upgrade for Markstrom. Now I would say that this is much more realistic to how this trade would go in real life. Broberg, a third, and a 6th meets around Makrstrom's value in my opinion, and it would take at least a first for the Oilers to be able to get rid of Campbell's contract. I still really like the Dube for McLeod swap as I think they really both need a change in scenery and could both benefit. So the Oilers get improved veteran goaltending and the flames bring in semi-valueable "prospects" and picks to begin their retool/rebuild.

Open to any other constructive or unconstructive criticism because at the end of the day this is just a fun mental exercise for me and I won't die on the hill of my unprofessional opinion of a NHL players value.

Yes, there would be retention on Tanev. For what ever reason the retention button wasn't working and adding it in additional details escaped my mind. I would expect at least 50% if not more through another team.
