Yeah, this is quite delulu lol

I feel like there's SOMETHING to the OTT deal, but some tweaking would be needed. I think that's actually a slight overpayment.

The SJ does is the more unrealistic IMO. Especially because of Duclair's cap-hit, SJ is definitely going to have a bidding war. I'm not sure they'll get a 1st for him, but I wouldn't rule it out depending on how the trade market shakes out, but I can't see less than a 2nd.

Sharks decline.

Duclair isn't a star or anything but I think we can do better than that return.

Especially with retention.

Kind of feel like Duclair should be dealt sooner than later as more teams may become sellers and more players may hit the market and Duclair hasn't been that great this season

Yeah, I agree. I think a 2nd, maybe with a mid level prospect is what he goes for.

Teams love his speed. It's why Duclair always gets a job.

If he's not scoring he's still drawing penalties.

You can move him up and down your lineup.

He creates mismatches against bottom 6 guys.

Teams aren't desperate to make trades right now.

Deadlines make deals.
