Sorry but this is really not fair value on Nelson.

We're looking at Kuzy + 1 st most likely. Center, producing very well. For a winger who is not producing at all. Scratched a lot etc~

Kuzmenko and a late 1st is of no interest to the Islanders. They just hired Roy and will definitely wait until the deadline at least before doing anything except adding.

Nelson would be worth a 1st, Kuzmenko and a top young prospect near NHL readiness or in his first year or two, if I was Lou. Starting point. A prospect who can step in and replace Nelson's value quickly. Something the Canucks don't have from my point of view.

If you were talking Nelson to the Jets for Cole Perfetti and a late 1st, on the other hand .... that would be closer to what it would take.

Nelson is worth way more. There’s no way the Islanders are trading him.
