This defense has been bad as it is, trading Miller and not getting any reliable D while also putting Jones into an everyday starting position makes us the worst D in the league.

I absolutely love this. Konecny is exactly the type of player Drury should be targeting. Personally, I would make some changes to those lines but I love that trade. NYR would need to acquire a LD in this case because Zac Jones should be far, far away from the starting lineup come playoffs.

Miller has been our biggest liability on defense though? I honestly don't see how Jones is worse. He's not ideal at all but I don't think he's shown to be a significant downgrade. Especially if they do the right thing and keep him far away from Schneider since that pairing sucks.

Miller might be having a bad year but even still he has his good ones. Jones is simply not a defenseman, like, he literally cannot play defense. Hes horrendous. You think it cant get worse, it can get a lot worse.
