K'Andre Miller for two rentals, Both Hanifin and Lindholm combined will be $16,000,000 7 x $7,500,000 for Noah Hanifin and 8 x $8,500,000 for Elias lindholm and the NYR don't have the cap space for both. Plus Lindholm would be an expensive 3C in New York and no Lindholm isn't a RW.

Lindholm would become the teams 2C next year and Trocheck would be the 3C, as he started this season prior to Chytil's injury. It would give us a hell of a 1, 2, 3 punch down the middle. However as you say, contracts can become an issue. In the instance we decide to make a heavy play for Lindholm, We cant also go after Hanifin. Miller would have to be retained because he is cost controlled next year.
