Larsson would be welcomed with open arms but he's already expressed that he has no desire to play in EDM due to his fathers unexpected passing.

The Kraken would not trade Larsson and Eberle for that price. Larsson has another year after this so they do not have to trade him right now, and additionally the extra year adds more trade value to him. Many worse defenseman have gone for a first round pick plus extra when they were only rentals ( Savard, Chiarot etc.) Seattle still views themselves as playoff contenders so I don't think they would give up Larsson without an overpay which this is not. Also Eberle is worth more to the Kraken than to any team who would trade for him so he would either not be traded or overpaid for if a move were to happen. Also I doubt the Kraken would have any interest in Broberg, though he is still in the AHL and at this point just straight up looks like a bust. If Seattle trades a defenseman it will be to make room for Evans to play full time so they do not need Broberg back. Also I'm not trying to be a hater just trying to look at this from Seattle's perspective.

He didn’t say that. Although it was a factor in him choosing Seattle.

Sure I agree on Larsson, no reason to trade him as he’s still has a year left. But if you got anywhere near a 1st for a rental Eberle you should take that and run.

Broberg isn’t a bust. He’s like a lock to an NHLer. You should really do some research on him. He’s currently dominant in the AHL. His elite skating, size, and range will make him a Top 4D for many years to come. I wouldn’t trade him for a 1st if a team offered.

What are your thoughts on Justin Schulz avilablility if the Kraken miss the playoffs?

I would 100% agree that they would take a first for Eberle they wouldn't take broberg, a third and Ceci's contract for Larsson so it's still a no deal. Also I'm not saying Broberg will never be in the NHL, by "bust" I mean he's not the player people thought he was in the predraft process, and he has nowhere near first round pick value anymore so he's a bust in comparison to what he was supposed to be. Also I don't know if he is an NHL lock, he has looked good in the AHL for years but he hasn't shown anything at an NHL level. Also like I already said in the last one Seattle already has Ryker Evans who they value more than broberg and who was just named to the AHL all star team. I know you like broberg and he has some tools but he has not shown close to a top 4 defender at this point, and by the time of the draft it will be 5 years since he was selected.

Schultz I think would for sure be available and he would cost far less than Larsson.
