I'd be super happy swapping Timmins for Broberg.

But Bert for Kulak makes no sense for the Leafs. Leafs need a top 3 dman, preferably RD. Kulak is a bottom pair guy. We have enough of those.

Broberg is waiver exempt and would be used as of next year. He still has a ton of potential and is younger. Timmins cap would go out and we can use it to get a true RD upgrade for this year.

I’m totally fine with that swap but zero chance we swap Bert for kulak we can’t afford him next year on the 3rd pairing
