Description

Top line is fine, Kopitar might be injured but let Byfield and Kempe do their thing.

PLD needs to find his groove again, no one helps players on the Kings do this better than Danault, Moore is still there so no problem.

Fiala and Lizotte already had chemistry last season, put Arvidsson on that line to ease him back in. Fiala and Arvidsson have been teammates since they came into the NHL.

The 4th line looked fantastic last night, keep those three together and potentially use Kaliyev if he gets out of the dog house.

Laffy has been great, but he has made a few mistakes and some time in the AHL might improve his game.

Clarke needs more time, Spence looks like the better all around player at this point. Clarke can be eased in as a regular next season.

Keep Rittich up, if you make a deal for a goalie Talbot is starting to make sense, the acquiring team would take his bonus which is going to be an issue next year.

As disappointing as PLD has been, I am not sure have him playing on his offside is going to help.
Have the kings not tried a line of Moore, PLD and Fiala?

Danault and Moore can't be separated it doesn't work. Fiala has worked best with Danault this season, but he did well with Lizotte last season. Fiala and PLD did not work this season. Fiala and Kempe did however.

Danault just does this great job of calming players down and bringing the best out of them. If Turcotte can be consistent as he was last night, I am ok with Lizotte and Turcotte taking C duties until PLD becomes better at being defensively responsible (it will take a while).
