Totally fine with it. I don't think they need to do anything else to be honest. If a younger Dman were to become available with RFA control, such as Fabbro, I'd be okay with that.

I think any Buch trade has to start with a first (thats not conditional like this proposed trade)

I think the lineup through the next 2 seasons is going to be more value guys now especially after signing Lindholm. Maybe bring back Tanev, Cole, or Myers for a year but you have to think about the future with Willander and Lekkerimaki.

Hughes Hronek
Soucy Willander
(Doesn’t Matter
Don’t Spend 6x6
on a Bottom Pair)

I'm curious if Willander gets signed. Would be great if he could be a regular on ELC next year. I think the value signings would be guys who can push Soucy and Willander/Juulsen to bottom pair. Like you said, Cole, Myers would be nice but it would have to be in the neighborhood of $2M. Maybe someone like Justin Schultz (ex-Penguin) would be a bargain + signing.

Not much appeal here for the Blues. Extra year of salary on Mokheyev, lekkerimaki is rather redundant in our prospect pool. 2nd next year. Blues aren’t forced to make a decision on Buch. If Willander is unavailable which I’d understand, there’s no way to make it work properly.

Dvorsky mainly and Snuggerud. Both have terrific one timers/shots. That's really lekkerimaki's main weapon. We have such a gaping whole in our defensive pipeline minus lindstein, and Buchinger to a degree but i'd label him more in the Brzuswitz category of good puck mover but don't see a way that they can sustain a spot in a top 4.
