This lineup for the playoffs would feed families. I really hope we can take Gauthier off waivers. He's an ideal depth guy and the type of guy you need in the playoffs.

I don't think it failed at all and I think it was a mistake to ever trade him. We gave him horrendous linemates his entire time here and were shocked that he couldn't do much. But he's big, fast, hits, draws penalties when crashing the net. At that cap hit he's not worse than any other 4th liners we're sending out there (aside from Vesey)

If he sucks on the islanders (we suck) why would a team with a real chance to win a ring want him?

How does he suck? I thought NYI fans loved him. I loved him on the Rangers. Obviously he's not a #1 RW but for me he's fine as a depth piece

I love him because he isnt Cal Clutterbuck. He is a good depth piece but he shouldnt be playing in a SCF game

Then again, neither should Tyler Pitlick, Jonny Brodzinski, or formerly Nick Bonino
