Recently, I've lost the desire to watch games, and I can't even bring myself to watch highlights. A contributing factor is the influence of 'wokism,' along with prevailing political themes and a sense of Canadian melancholy casting a shadow over my enjoyment. Hockey used to be my refuge from the outside world, but now it seems there's no escaping these external issues. Adding to the challenge is the looming expiration date on the core four players, with the disappointment of one playoff win followed by subsequent letdowns. Now, as we navigate this season, I can't help but wonder how others are interpreting these developments. Can anyone else relate to this sentiment?
