Are you sure you’re a Hawks fan? All of your trade proposals are brutal for them.

TFW may be the best asset in all of this. What an odd proposal for each side.

They put up good points in the minors and they are a lot younger that johnson and blackwell. Hawks need to try and use there potential to there advantage and dump there salaries and give them decent minutes. At first glance is looks like a dumb trade but if though the players produce and the hawks give them a chance with skillful players like bedard then it would work out pretty well. Besides hawks are a rebuilding team and they need younger guys that will be 3rd or 2nd line guys.

I don’t have ans big of issues with trading 2 players that are on expiring contracts in exchange for 2 long shots. However, when you start throwing in 2nd round picks. To make it happen, warning bells go off for me.
Hawks will be a seller, as they are not making the playoffs. Other teams that are in the playoffs that have concerns for their forward depth will be looking to add cheap veterans on short contracts. Those are the type of deals Hawks should be looking for , not giving up picks to grab long shots.
