The buy-out literally does not hurt. Are you having trouble comprehending that?

Also, theres a small chance Ottawa is on goodrow’s no trade list and he doesn’t waive, so it wouldn’t even matter. On top of that, you’d get picks for goodrow lmao not Schneider

You keep saying the buyout doesn't hurt but it objectively does. However good your team will be in three years...it could be better if they don't have the buyout money on the books.

Dude $1m isn’t going to hurt the team as long as Drury isn’t handing out massive contracts to bottom 6 players. The rangers also have players on ELCs in the future that helps with any cap trouble

The Sens currently have 3 buyouts right now and they’re doing fine cap wise lol

That's a really dumb way of thinking tbh.

Who knows, maybe if the Sens didn't have that buyout money on the books they'd be able to use that ~ 5 million dollars to acquire a player who would have made them a much better team.

Having one million dollars in dead cap is not the end of the world, true, but you'd definitely rather not have it all things being equal.

do all NYR fans have have trouble with understanding what people write? i said many god dam times NYR should not trade him for a rental, IF they trade him is should be for what they need up front and not for a rental or to dump bad contracts (goodrow). Schneider is a RD, no guarantee he will be as effective on the left side, unless they plan to play trouba on the left side and have a trouba/Schneider line. they can wait 1-2 years dump trouba and have schneider in the top 4 then like Tampa did with Sergy.

Like I'd give a damn about empty opinions. If you really need something to talk about, try the overstated Kakko proposals, which are no closer to happening than the empty scapegoating writers are wasting our time on.
