The picks the Rangers are trading were supposed to go to the Kings not the Flames

The quantity of picks going to Calgary does not make up for the absolute lack of quality returning for those two assets, sorry mate, no from Calgary. A 1st and two 2nds is nice, but not nearly nice enough along with Turcotte and Talbot for both guys.

it's the Rangers, they can't trade their 1st because of their owner and Arvidsson is playoff guy they would want specially with their current injuries

Here are the issues with that. !) VA is a left winger which is not a need position for the Rangers. 2) VA is A 4.5 Mill/Yr player with term which very expensive for a player that you are unsure will be the same after missing so much time. 3) There are better options, even if he were fully healthy, for a out of position need.

Arvidsson is a UFA after this season, don't know where you got he has term as that would be the whole reason for the Rangers to acquire him and guys play on their offside or out of position all the time, look at JT Miller who was a horrible centre in NYR and Tampa and exclusively a winger first few years and now a point per game centre and Arvidsson is the type of playoff player you want where he is a total **** disturber on top of scoring, so in my eyes your arguments are paper thin
