Even though Othmann makes sense from every angle unless management believes he is not ready, this is presuming he is ready

While it is tempting to use the 4.252 Million to go out and get a player, there is nobody in the market right now that I'd be willing to pay market value for

Especially when we have a young player who at least deserves an extended look at the top line or at the very least a look at the lineup

Save the picks, build up a prospect pool, and save 2025 picks for 2025

Nothing about Othmann’s game in the AHL says he’s NHL ready. Majority, like 70% of his points are from the powerplay

I mean personally I think othmann might need another year in the AHL next year. But yea long term solution but not current solution
