Schef and Helly have already signed for 4.8m pay increases, so don't know how the cap works next season.
Tkachuk is a 20 point a season better than Perfetti. Is all trading all the other assets worth the premium of the better Tkachuk?

20 points is often the difference between a first liner and a 2nd liner. But given the cap structure of the Jets and how they just shipped out PLD for all of these guys and turned the corner, this seems like a disaster waiting to happen.

If Brady Tkachuk leaves Ottawa it isn't for another Canadian team like Winnipeg. It will be to go home to the States.

I mean I feel like Lucius is gonna be a flop, iafallo is a cap casualty, Lambert is a nice piece, Perfetti is a good player but Imo whenever the game gets physical or tight checking he tends to disappear. I hate the tkachuks but I love Adam Lowry and a ppg Adam Lowry is a huge difference maker, but that's just my opinion, I see the other side of not wanting to give up that package for him too.

Jets have never been better. These tweaks often upset the whole balance of the team as you suggest.
IMO, Tkachuk is good player, but at times he's more of a character than good player.

Yes, but that's the point i was getting to is that it would seem very dumb for the Jets to turn the corner doing what they did and then completely undo it as there's a major risk there.
