What is it with the Robertson trades? He is a great prospect IF he got the chance. Bertuzzi should take the fall not him. Bert gets traded WAY before Robertson imo. Yes of course Bert won't have too much trade value since he's on a 1 year deal but he's been underwhelming while Robertson has exceded expectations.

looking to playoffs I'm very nervous of Robertson not being able to handle a physical, tight style of game. He excels in the loose, fast game, but is a small guy who isn't particularly strong on the puck. Bert, on the other hand, has struggled but all of his best games pretty much have come in those more playoff-like games.

Just simply comes down to Bert likely being more useful in a playoff run than Robby.. I want Robby to succeed more than anyone but at the same time, just seems like he's not going to be able to be relied up come playoff time.. makes too many little mistakes and gets outbodied.. sure he can add a few points but guys like McMann and Holmberg and Domi etc are stepping up and also more reliable. Just think getting Brandon Tanev for a couple years as a solid bottom 6 guy makes more sense.

Exactly this. Unfortunately... Love Robby though.

I can see that. That's fair. But I'm not sure I really am extetic for another 32 y/o middle six player.
