Again, cap friendly needs more knights in shining armor so keep protecting the bottom feeders from those mean old Leafs fans 😂. I know Marner has made the playoffs every year he has been in the league

Other elements matter - size, physical play, defensive efficiency, etc - but the league and GMs have spoken. To the most valuable players go the most $ and that ain’t Wilson or Tkatchuk 😂

That kind of idea gets thrown in the mixer when you consider M. Tkachuk, J. Trouba, B. Chariot, etc...

Obviously 20+ points (in Brady's case and 70+ in Wilson's) isn't made up for physicality

Such a stupid argument, I would have attacked the size difference or the 0.2 GPG in the playoffs or something like that

in a cap world, the guy making 8M will be taken over the guy wanting 12-13M, 10-20 point gap between marner and brady is not worth a top line Dman and a 1st.
