Additional Details:

Might seem like an egregious amount but IMO, Jack has more value than petey bc of his contract. Demko, a first round pick, and a (possibly) early 25’ 2nd might cover the difference. Demko makes this INSANELY unrealistic, but this would be insanely fun for Vancouver fans. And Devils fans would have to at least consider it.

NJD passes. If you took out Luke maybe but still likely no:

Demko: 10 million surplus (10 mill AAV valuation x 2 years)
1st: 6 million
2nd:3 million

19 mill in value unfortunately does not bridge the fact that Pettersson will make between 24-30 mill more than Jack over the next 6 years

NJD should take this and run. Adding Petey and Demo would make them cup favourites. Elite tender + Elite selke level 1c. Losing Luke might hurt their future by they have many defensive prospects that should make the jump.
