That contract for vlasic is atrocious

For what it's worth, AFP Analytics has made predictions for both long term and bridge deal contracts for Vlasic. Long term they have him at $4.7M x 6 years, and short term they have him at $2.5M x 3 years. Their predictions aren't usually too far off. $6 is probably too much unless he puts up like 30 points over the remainder of the season. Personally, I wouldn't be opposed to making this bet and locking him in early, but I doubt KD does it.

However, contrary to @V123, the contract isn't ideal, but atrocious is way too strong of a word. Everyone is used to current AAV's, but with the Covid escrow being paid off and the cap taking big jumps over the next handful of years, players and their agents will be asking for a larger piece of the pie, and $5-6M will probably become the new $4-4.5M in the very near future.
