Here's the issue. Spezza at 2 years. Miller, Hayes, Vesey need to be signed next season. Nash 7.8 off the books helps with that. Alex Beregzelov has an opt out clause back to Russia. He must have a legitimate chance at making the roster even if it's as 7th dman. If Holden gets traded, a dman shouldn't come back.

I get that but Hayes, Vesey, and Skjei will get a bridge deal and Miller(who is younger then Hayes)if he plays great maybe we have to buy out Staal but it is a situation that can be dealt with. Maybe with this we can make a run at Tavares or we keep our highest paid player lower then almost all teams until we have someone worth it.
