Description

I feel like middle six and depth forwards were more established in 2014 and better compared to now, but the increase in star power at the forward core is pretty insane on the current team. Really makes me sad to think if Nash showed up on the scoresheet more, that series may have gone a little differently. I ranked forwards based on their playoff points that year (Fast and Miller each played fewer than 5 games that run). Goalies I’d call a wash. Defense has me a bit perplexed at which is the better d core as our defense now can provide more offense but is nowhere near as good defensively. Kreider is the only Ranger remaining from that run. Just curious which rendition is better in your mind.
