The 3rd would not be enough for Ned with retention. It would be a 2nd.
Guentzel (with retention) would cost Edmonton somewhere in the range of:
    Holloway + Bourgault + Broberg + 1st

    Add in Ned at 50% and you're looking at a 2nd and a 4th or B+ prospect.

Way too much for JG. He’s injured for starters. What I suggested is adequate.
A 2nd for Ned would be fair.

He is actually probably near 100% but due to NHL rules can't come back until the 10th. Even then, he is one of the best wingers in the NHL and might be the best player available at the TDL in 20 years.

He comes off LTIR immediately after the deadline. The injury won't detract from his value.
What you suggested is IMO less than what Elias Lindholm got. Guentzel is a much better player than Lindholm.

Canucks overpaid. Flames took back a bad contract. Really the return is a first and a B prospect in Brusctewizc (?).

Okay, so it's a 1st and a B prospect for a player of Lindholm's caliber. A player of Guentzel's caliber, however, will cost more than that. Edmonton's first is probably going to be a pretty late one and Xavier Bourgault is having a down year. This is basically a 1st and a B prospect for a much better player and an upgrade to your goaltending. You're going to have to do a lot better.

After last night I’m not sure that’s an upgrade in G. Mind you the Pens played flat footed and the Oilers showed up the whole game. Not sure who is better Ned or Pickard.

One game where the skaters in front of Ned forget to show up suddenly makes a significant difference? For my money Edmonton should've scored 8 or 9 on that team.

Are the Pens now finished? Is there any hope?
