I like adding Parayko but the depth behind the first pair in this scenario is very suspect.

Agree with you. We would have to go shopping in UFA to keep improving the quality of our d-core in the summer.

Goes to show that if this trade were to happen, it would probably be over the off-season. Acquiring him now would just negate anything positive he brings to the team by the loss of Brodie and Lilly.
