He's definitely not washed up, he's going to cost them more than they can afford, so they're getting something for him before he walks. He would be the Islanders leading scoring for the rest of the year if they traded for him.

How bad are the Islanders that a non playoff team's scraps would be their best player? Terrible time to be an Islanders fan.
