Description
The only silver lining is @antianalytics now has to walk back his 2000 posts per month about how the sabres definitely arent trade mittelstadt and it definitely wont be for byram lol

Warned every fan over the summer, huge budget problems with the Sabres. Simply wasnt enough money to pay mittelstadt once the dahlin and power deals were done.

they arent though. Tage, cozens....krebs? thats not deep. Savoie and kulich will both be wingers in the NHL. its really just Ostlund and Wahlberg in the depth chart, and they are at least 2-3 years away.

Also Byram hasnt been good for 2 years, llkely a result of injuries that have slowed development. There's no guarantee that suddenly changes on the Sabres.

You claim the Sabres are not deep on center? Name a veteran center who is available and can fill a need for the Sabres/

they arent deep at center, and there isnt a veteran that fill a need. they need to do it through draft development. nobody who is good is signing with the sabres or waiving their NTC/NMC.

For another LD. Why not go 6 for 6 😂

Why not they dont care lol.

In fairness Dahlin is probably better playing his off hand anyways. So they really only need 2 but they look poised to go with zero.

You did not name a veteran center who is available and can fill a need for the Sabres.

There isn't one. thats what i literally just said. They dont get that option. They have to draft and develop. Good vets dont want to play for them.

Would you agree Kevyn Adams not having a plan to address the specific position after trading Mittelstadt would be a failing grade for a key performance indicator?

sure? But its not entirely his fault. He inherited a mess, and his owner is a mess.

Intentionally not fixing the mess is also a mess.

The mess that Darcy Regier created is a case study for National Hockey League general mangers on what not to do.
