Description

This is what the Avs playoff roster could look like if Landeskog returns and if no other trades happen. I think this roster is absolutely disgusting, especially the forwards. Cogliano would be a healthy scratch in this scenario.

Biggest question mark on this roster for me is goaltending. I think Georgiev is solid enough to win the Cup with this team in front of him. Kuemper showed us 2 years ago that you can win on average goaltending. Annunen is great, but I wouldn't trust him to backup Georgiev if he crumbles. Annunen is the future Avs goalie, but he doesn't have enough experience yet for this year's playoffs.

I still think the Avs should trade for a 4C that kills penalties, a 2G (or a 1bG), and a 6th defensemen (left-handed) to replace JJ. The Avs have plenty of cap space now to make a move, and you can never have too much depth for the playoffs.

Basically agree with your comments. I think we got malinski for a depth puck mover if sammy goes down again which is nice. I would like to trade to basically get another cheaper manson that can rotate with JJ. Manson's been having injury issues and if he goes down i think we might be light on grit for a playoff run, i don't really feel like jones can really make an impact in any aspect for being the 7th D.
