You literally just downgraded the offensive, the defense and the goaltending. All for the low, low price of two 1sts, a 2nds, Broberg, some late picks and the chance to offload Campbell.

Grubauer gave Edmonton a real No1 for Years and a elite Goalie-Pairing. Eberle the much needed scoring RW for the Top 6 and with Henrique a Quality 3rd. And Borgen give much more Stability than Ceci. And their done with Campbell and his awfull Contract.

Grubauer has been below average for 3 years. His contract is an albatross.

Foegele scores much more at 5v5 than Eberle does. Plus Eberle is slow and soft, Foegele is big, fast and physical.

This trade makes the Oilers worse now and in the future. It's just bad all round.
