I dont think Trenin is necessary in this... they already have half a dozen LWs on this team. However this isnt how Id roll the lines.

Guentz, Mika, Duclair
Panarin, Troch, LAF
Kreider, Wennberg, Cuylle

Thats how Id roll it. Make the first line straight all out firepower, maybe that would wake up Mika.

Kakko is of little value. He's a bust with minimal chance for upside.
Sykora is a C level prospect.
2024 1st is late in a weak draft. I would much prefer a 1st in both 2026 and 2027 to this package. At least it gives some hope for upside. This package is pure low ceiling mediocrity.

Factually he is in the top 10% in data tracking skater mobility so you're entirely wrong there. He's also been better with Malkin than Crosby- granted that was some years ago. Regardless, I can assure you I would immediately hate him if he played for the Rags.

Sounds like it will be Canes for a long time if not the rest of his career. But that is a hell of a lot better than the Rags.
