Description
Extensive descriptions in each trade. Please read at least one before complaining about my delusions.

I truly have no idea how to arrange these forward lines. Someone else's job.
Trades
1.
TOR
  1. Duclair, Anthony ($1,500,000 retained)
SJS
  1. Kämpf, David
  2. 2024 4th round pick (TOR)
  3. 2024 5th round pick (CGY)
Additional Details:
So this feels like an underpayment. However, the forward prices have seemingly been around here thus far. Would be reasonable to add a B-level prospect if needed IMO but I still think this one is relatively close as is.
2.
TOR
  1. 2025 7th round pick (CHI)
CHI
  1. Gregor, Noah
Additional Details:
This is just to really get rid of him as I think that if he is waived he gets claimed. Throw a billion conditions on the pick if you are so inclined.
3.
TOR
  1. Buchnevich, Pavel ($2,900,000 retained)
  2. Parayko, Colton ($1,450,000 retained)
Additional Details:
READ THIS ONE AT LEAST I BEG:
So the salary retained on Parayko is only there because I cannot make Buch 75% retained. So that money is actually retained through a third party for picks (will be what the trade below includes). It is just put onto Parayko so that the cap space that is shown accurately reflects the cap space that would remain
STL
  1. Brodie, TJ
  2. Liljegren, Timothy
  3. Minten, Fraser
  4. Robertson, Nicholas
  5. Tverberg, Ryan
  6. 2024 1st round pick (TOR)
  7. 2024 5th round pick (VAN)
  8. 2024 7th round pick (OTT)
Additional Details:
The price for Buch is likely around 1st + Lilly + B-tier prospect (Tverberg here but sub in someone if you so desire. Then the retention (50%) catches the 5th-round pick. I think that this is fair as the first three pieces likely get some of the retention as well (I am not so delusional that I think 2.9m of retention is just a 5th)

Parayko: So the blues don't want to go full rebuild. So they get a blue-chip prospect who has already played NHL games (Mints), a solid defenseman who they can extend at reasonable pay, and Robertson who likely thrives in the increased role that the Blues can afford to give him.

Additionally, they get a 7th to compensate for the leaf tax (aka, me slightly pandering to the non-leaf fans reading this in order to make it look more even)

Sharks decline.

I'm sure Army wants to retain on Parayko for 6 plus years.

Not in a position to trade Parayko.

Not the pieces that are very attractive at this deadline for Buchnevich. Could probably get a deal like that in the offseason.

How did you skip the "READ THIS ONE I BEG" subheading? I thought that was as clear as possible. He is not retaining on Parayko, just using him as cap logistics on here because I can't do double retention

Crazy enough to get hired by Terry Pegula.

You're crazy if you think CHI is paying anything for Gregor.

Also, that isn't even enough to dump Kampf, let alone acquire Duclair.

Also also, I doubt that is even enough for Buchnevich, let alone Parayko, too. And that is without even considering retention.

So, yes, you are crazy. haha
