That is a solid deal. Would take that for sure. Though pretty sure Smith is in the lineup tonight.

Major W for the Canes if true and if that’s our return it’s time to go full rebuild. Bunting is a bang average player and won’t make this team any better. The other pieces of that are years away and won’t be here with Sid. That’s a rebuild trade.

For one I'm fine with that. Secondly without an extension in a sign and trade, I don't think they're going to get great value in a deal.

But if Bunting is the “replacement” it’s time to completely rebuild. He isn’t remotely close to Jake. The only reason he’s “better” than Debrusk because of term.
