    With how much GMs value late 1sts these days I think that package might net someone special.

    But it's hard for me to see a scenario where our top 3 centers next year aren't Strom, McMichael, Lapierre

    Yeah it’s interesting how scarce first round picks are this year. I’d like to think Jensen with retention could net one that could be flipped.

    Strome is a 2C in a perfect world, and a damn good one at that. McMichael is a great 2C/3C tweener. Lapierre is the toughest one for me to gauge. He might f around and become a number one center for us lol. But 3C is a more realistic expectation for him. In that case, let McMichael switch back to wing and grab a young center via trade.

    Yea I agree on those guy's ceilings more or less. We basically need to be patient and wait for the next Eichel situation. The price Vegas paid for Eichel is very doable for WSH with how deep our prospect pool is becoming & how good the cap situation is (especially post-Ovi/Carlson contracts)
