hahahahha are you serious? I can't tell...

But healthy smith is not getting CLOSE to the return for a semi-injured Guentzel. Plus, Guentzel almost back

Smith - 29 points
Guentzel - 52 points

hahahah

Why are we paying 2 first, an amazing rookie and a really good young 2c on a good contract for an aging Crosby when we are rebuilding?

because he's Crosby and that's cheap for him as he is going to show Caulfield and Suzuki and Ghulie how to be pros and what it takes to win
Come on it's Sid and the kids

Uhhhhhhh....Bunting for Mik doesn't even make sense, let alone EP d-man and a draft pick.

Hahahaha. I tried to tell all the pens fans they weren’t getting half the packages they thought….

Let me go ahead and set this one in stone. No top pick or top prospects are coming back for smith, especially as Pitt can’t retain

Would you trade Yager, Malkin and 2 first for Ovetchkin? Especially when you’re rebuilding? Would you trade your entire future for Tavares?

Ovi has very similar numbers with a down year this year. Tavares also has several near ppg seasons in the last few years. They are very similar players. And nobody is paying thr equivalent of 5 first for them. Especially not rebuilding teams

But I bet you wouldn’t give half the return you’re asking for Crosby for them lol

Of course, but I never said I would
Penguins are also taking Anderson in the deal which is unmovable with out peeling a 1st and 3rd rounder

So you are saying yiu wouldn’t give 2 first for a player with very similar numbers to Crosby but ask for 5 first for him.

And Anderson doesn’t bring the value down. Since it’s the Pens who are asking for the trade and that we have more than enough money to keep Anderson, it means that the pens would want him and he wouldn’t bring the value down
