I'm quickly losing confidence anything significant will happen. I brought up a couple of deserving kids and waived Holl in this scenario. Goaltending and D scare me; likely a playoff team that gets smoked by NYR/BOS/FLA in the 1st rd.

trust Yzerman, OTT was 2+ year ahead of the rebuild compared to DET and look at how it is now. OTT is a joke and DET is in the playoffs. Either OTT has such crap GMS/coaching/ownership that is record setting or Yzermans plan is working

I hope you're right. If they have goaltending and play team D like they did in that 6 game winning streak, you're absolutely right. If they play like the last couple of games they're dead. If they get rid of the uniform ad I think they'll be fine.
