Not at all. Defense is more than okay. Dillon Morrisey Pionk DeMelo on your top4 is excellent. They have Samberg Miller Schmidt to fill the last 2 spots

Morrissey and Pionk are good. Demelo is a good #4. Dillon is a good #5. Miller and Schmidt are beyond horrible. Samberg is a good #6-7. So a pretty average defense

Strangely enough, that is the opposite of what the Jets had a couple months ago. The offense was piss poor, the defense was top tier, and Hellebuyck was getting bored.

Then the Jets added two forwards and a 6th Dman.

So they are missing a #3 D to be consider above average

Demelo isn’t a #3 D. He is more like Savard
Dillon is more a #5
Samberg is a #6 on good days
Miller is an average #7
Schmidt is awful, he shouldn’t be more than a #8
