I am with you on Yzerman doing bridge deals for Raymond and Seider. I think if you look at his history that is usually how he operates with players in that age range. Tyler Myers is not worth $6 mil, he is due for a huge pay cut. Myers and Mantha are giant marshmellows. Neither of them use their size they way they could, pass on both.

If you are giving someone $5 mil then re-sign Kane for a couple more years. I am tempted by getting back Bertuzzi. He is gritty and has shown that he can perform come playoff time. I get why he was traded but I really love how he plays. Cossa is not ready for the NHL yet, they are going to bring him along slowly. I suppose that Sandin Pellikka, Kasper, Danielson, and Soderblom could make the NHL next season but not all of them. I think Edvinsson deserves every shot to make the team as long as he comes to camp and earns it.
